Though I've got to say I ran across this superb mr brightside cover version on YouTube a few days ago and possibly I like it even more than the original rendition! Hahahahaha! Sheeeeeit! The Fab Four! I hadn't realized that Simon Lebon had quit Duran Duran . . . which other one quit with him? :) She Ap, I know that there were some negotiations with Van Halen earlier in the year, so maybe, if ratings were good enough and this outing didn't get trashed as awfully as the INXS version did, maybe they might reconsider. LG!! Happy Birthday...nice that you could spend your 50th in the great Northwest....just kidding :) I know you aren't 50....49 maybe...ok, just kidding. I KNEW Lukas was gonna be the one. Which is good for Toby and Dilana...they can do their own thing. I about barfed when Gilby offered to help her with her album....I would have said no thanks...I want an album that rocks!! great play by play. Show was pretty uneventful. I knew Magni was gonna be out first. Since the first show I predicted Lukas and Dilana were gonna be the remaining two. No surprise. We caught that commercial with Lukas on it and wondered if they jumped the gun on it cause we figured it would be him after seeing it. Joel was routing for Toby. He did seem more nervous tonight though. I thought zombie was really bad...she'd done it better before. Remember we made up the hockey song...we would sing HOCKEY, HOCKEY, whats in the net, in the net hockey hockey, to the tune of that song! Now, which band will be looking for a singer next summer? Sublime? Fuel? Blind Melon? Any predictions?
