By the way, Ryan Star recorded his live album yesterday with the HOUSE BAND!! Way better gig than fronting the superpirates! Mark Burnett set it up so he could do it. I actually felt badly for Storm, she was so much better than that hobbling freak show, Dilana. I can't believe I actually started out liking her. Man, she hasn't done anything interesting since her Cindy Lauper cover. I liked Storm's performance of Wish You Were Here, but I wish we could hear a different Pink Floyd song by House Band. Oh yeah, they know Money too. JD did that last season. Still, Storm did sing a very pretty version. I really don't even know why the rockers perform on Wednesday night, the axe never falls on the worst performance. If it did, Dilana would have gotten kicked off twice! I was surprised she didn't. I do like Toby's original cause it's catchy, so it was a pretty good pick for encore. I thought for sure magni was gonna be in bottom 3 with storm and dilana so very surprised it was lukas. I thought it was cheap of him to do the same song as last night also cause it's his original. Dave layed into Zayra for doing the same song for her bottom 3 performance. Storm moved me with her song. No Marty Casey, but still good. Dilana sux. That cheap trick song sux. It just plain sucked! What's up with these guys giving her standing O? She's already went into the crowd on someones shoulders...get a new move! I'm hoping Toby wins this thing. IMO him and Magni are the only ones left worthy of it. Another crappy song by SN, but Magni sang well as usual. Did ya catch Brookes pirate dress yesterday? The white and black striped one? I've just mixed down last night's episode, number 49! Not sure if we quite pulled it off, but there are moments of brilliance . . . on L.G.'s part. Umm, going to comment a little on the elimination show that is just starting to unfurl before mine eyes. Dave and Brooke just addressed her pregnancy. A little boy. Isn't that special! ;) Did you notice last night that the Rockers pretty much all sucked on the covers and only got up for their own material. They showed that clip where Tommy says, that song was just so "uuhhhhnnnnnn!" Well, sorry Tommy . . . SpEnt fiXer came up with that about 12 years ago! We'll play a portion of that song in the very near future. In fact, the song is called, "You're Just So Uhhhhnnnn!" Okay, there's a lot of ass kissing going on here. Let's get this thing moving. I think Marty made this his personal anthem last season; he sang it about 4 weeks in a row. Okay, a passable, pretty, but not a memorable version of that song. Anybody can sing that song. I even do a pretty good version. And I suck! Seems to have moved Jason. God . . . Dilana keeps ruining my favorite songs! Cheap Trick is one of my top 3 favorite bands of all time. And this version is an absolute travesty. Is this the Bart Simpson version? Sounds like a really bad Slits impersonation. She might be toast this evening! She just keeps getting worse every performance. I can't believe those idiots are on their feet. That totally sucked ass. Sorry. I pretty much like this song, but it sounds a lot like everything else that has been on the rock charts the last several years. I still can't tell if he can sing, but I certainly love his posturing.
