Well, it’s not really that special other than being our 10th episode. But we do talk about four (count ‘em, four!) bands: The Faint, Brendan Benson, Slick Idiot, and SpEnt fiXer. We also discuss beverages; The Amazing Race (no, not the Preakness); Chub Creek, our favorite podcast other than our own (oh, who are we kidding, that’s including our own); a rare appearance by Lunchbox; a review of Ridley Scott’s latest, Kingdom of Heaven; and various geeky things in a little segment we tritely call the Geek Zone.
P.S. Rather than our usual FM-quality mono mix, we encoded this one as an AM-quality stereo mix (despite Padrino’s assertion in the introduction). Let us know if you like it. Or hate it. Or whatever. Just let us know something, doggone it!

I thought this was a very good episode. I don’t know why it’s bombed so badly, but I blame it on the SpEnt fiXer song, more than the “stereo” presentation. Might be time to get rid of the “fiXer eliXer” segment.
