					<description>Odis!

Good luck to you. If you get a podcast up and running, have Sky let me know and I'll tune in. We'll also give your podcast a shout-out on our show. Not that that will help, but it will welcome you into the community. An excellent podcast to listen to for tons of info on podcasting is Adam Curry's "Daily Source Code." He is also deeply involved with a site called "www.podshow.com" which can probably help you find all the info and tools you might need.

<description>Hey Odis, thanks for stopping by.

When you get right down to it, podcasting is just a fancy way to let people download MP3s. When you make your own podcast, you put up MP3 files on your own Web site. So yes, as people download those with their podcast tuners, that will be counting against your bandwidth.

But to put things in a little perspective, our own Web site for the Ill Crate has yet to go over 3 gigs of bandwidth in a month. Of course, ours is not exactly a superstar podcast. :)

If you're still nervous about it, check out [this article about podcast hosting](http://digitalmedia.oreilly.com/2005/09/07/hosting-podcasts.html) from O'Reilly. The author claims there's at least one podcast-friendly hosting company out there with reasonable rates and _unlimited_ bandwidth.

Hope this smattering of info is useful.

					<description>Hello:

I a friend/co-worker of Schylur's at Richmark Label Co. I would like to start a podcast. It's the thing to do these days. Any-who... can you give me some insight on bandwidth. My host allow me 30GB per mouth of bandwidth. My questions is... If I plan to upload my podcasts to Apple iTune's (podcast) directory, will I be responsible for the bandwidth with my host?

Thank you for you help,
Odis

					<description>L.G.!

Niiiiiiiice! Great picture of the band with their new lead singer, JD Fortune. Hey, if Wil Seabrook would have landed the gig, would he have been INXS' new Lead (Pb, on the periodic table of elements, if I remember correctly) Singer? ;)
