Ill Crate episode 27
BEWARE: LISTENING TO THIS SPECIAL HALLOWEEN EDITION OF THE ILL CRATE MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH. The members of the Ill Crate team DO NOT accept any responsibility whatsoever for those listeners who are ultimately “Frightened to Death” by the following program. You are listening AT YOUR OWN RISK. Those of you brave enough to listen, thank you. Those of you brave enough to listen AND survive the horror… Job well done!
Anyway, yes, it’s our Halloween episode. We even got in costume for it and everything. We’ll hear a bit of NAHPI, Gene Moss, Ministry, Bobby Boris and the Crypt Kickers (not the song you think!), and SpEnt fiXer. Also, Padrino waxes nostalgic about childhood trick-or-treating, we check in on this week’s The Amazing Race (we missed last week’s because we took so long), LG encounters creepy crawly things in The Weakly Disappointment, and The Geek Zone looks at vivisection. Oooo, scary stuff, kids!

Pads & LG! Gosh I want to listen to your show so bad but my stupid computer keeps crashing about 3 minutes in! It sounds hilarious and I want to be frightened to death!

Mrs. Brightside– that’s weird. I don’t know why that would be. Maybe your computer’s being frightened to death??

Mrs. B!
This is by far my favorite episode! 101011 and I were just listening to it on our way to lunch and 101011 laughed twice — OUT LOUD!! That’s equivalent to about 5 of Roger Eberts’ thumbs being way up!
I’ll have to download the episode via Ipodder on my computer here and see if I endure the same rough treatment you are experiencing. I’ll let you know tomorrow. Anyway, thanks for trying. BTW, did that live Killers album satisfy? I really dig it.

Anything of the Killers satisfies me!=))) They are pretty dry though during concerts. I don’t think the problem is with your show, I’ve noticed my computer keeps crashing in other applications, mainly while I’m on the internet or of course when I’m typing a masterpiece of an obit and the family is waiting to see what wonderful things I’m writing about their deceased loved one! Or like LG says, maybe my computer’s just frightened to death of your show…=)))

The show played perfectly on my system, so I don’t know what happened. Maybe there is some sort of internet sentry target and termination system in place there down in the “Bible Belt” that is intercepting transmissions of The Ill Crate and killing the feed, protecting you from our horror and filth.
Of course, a shrewd and resourceful young lady, such as yerself, would use this opportunity to hit the company up for a new work station!

Hah! You know these hillbillies down here don’t know much about these computer thingamajigs…! But having a computer crash about 10 times a day is not really condusive to my work schedule either!

Yeah, I remember what it was like trying to do productivity work on a Compaq! Time to drag out the ol’ abacus.
Anybody out there remember Wang or Kaypro?
