Mrs. Brightside!

We haven't received any "Slanguage" tidbits from She Appizle . . . YET, but I'm certain that that fireball of creativity will not disappoint us! I bet you have something up your sleeve as well, so send it along:

padrino@illcrate.com

You have about a week and a half since we will be on hiatus this week. Again, we really appreciate your listening and your feedback.

Holla, Mass Exodus!

Glad to have you aboard! I'll get on seeing about Pulp and Social Distortion. I'm pretty familiar with Social Distortion . . . I think I have a few of their albums buried in the Ill Crate somewhere. I'll have to take a look. It is Friday, about 1:30 p.m. and I still haven't settled on an artist yet, however, I have been listening to quite a bit of Rilo Kiley . . . I was thinking of doing that, but I'm going to check and see if I don't have The Dirtbombs and the others hiding somewhere in the crate.

BTW, if any of you have some contributions you'd like to add to "Slanguage" send them over to us at:

padrino@illcrate.com

Of course we'll give you props. I'm sure a creative soul like She Apizzle could come up with a few.

The Sophanos:
Padrino and Mrs. Brightside, avid watchers (fans) of the Sopranos. Har har!

Yours,
Padrino

We need to ask L.G. to be certain, but I think 101011 is something like "43" in binary. So I could just start calling her that! About the schedule for the Ill Crate, we try to have them up on Monday, but sometimes we have trouble getting them done on time. The regular schedule is to record the show on Friday night, then after my bike ride on Saturday, I edit the show, adding all the sound FX and all, which takes about 3 or 4 hours, then I have convert it to an mp3 and upload it. The next step is for L.G. to carefully listen to it and write all the show notes and make links for them. Then he has to "publish" the show and write the synopsis. It is a lot of work and takes a ton of time. And sometimes we just simply miss making a show . . . I guess that is why we were only able to get 35 shows on-line when we should have had 52! Man, now that I look at the numbers, L.G. and I took about 17 weeks of vacation last year! Yowzaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Here's a scary thought . . . I haven't even picked out an artist for the next episode yet. Any suggestions? It has to be quick!

That's gotta be really difficult to yell out 101011's name in an emergency situation!! Do you ever just call her 10? Wow, so no one told me about those poetry awards and academic jounals. I'm not surprised considering how incredibly creative you are. Oh my gosh, and so quick and clever. There is one episode of the ill crate I almost wet my pants I was laughing so hard. The one when LG says he had a robot named 2XL and you said, something like "that's not a robot, that's my shirt size". Loved it!! Can't wait for your next show. So, do these shows just come out at random dates or do you guys post them on a certain schedule?
