The bucketous episode 38
There’s no Ill Crate episode this week. Sorry.
April Fool.
This week’s episode is dedicated to versatile rock guitarist extraordinaire Buckethead. We also talk about our own band SpEnt fiXer and its subtle influence on pop powerhouses R.E.M. and The Cure; Padrino’s Weakly Disappointment is all about Skechers; The Amazing Race segment (about episodes 4 and 5) goes by amazingly fast; our segment Slanguage extends your vocabulary once again; the Geek Zone, less geeky than usual, takes you to music website of the moment Pandora.com; we get a late-breaking news flash from the April 1 edition of Slashdot; and we respond to your comments (yes, yours!) and attempt to puzzle out a cryptic note from Padrino to himself.

Whoa!
Great Job L.G.!!! I can’t believe you were able to get this on-line so quickly. I think I just got it up-loaded less than 12 hours ago! This episode was a handful to edit. But, save for the crashes, it was extremely fun. There was a point where I truly thought we had lost this episode. Not certain if the recent problems are due to the new software or my aging computer.

Hey, I don’t want to hear about your “aging” computer; mine is at least three years older than yours.

Hey guys! That episode was incrateable!! My lame attempt at slanguage. I get excited to hear which artist or band ya’ll pick. We need a little more spent fixer though!!! Yeah, that is strange how the Cure totally ripped ya off! heehee.

Incrateable!!! Niiiiice. That’s a good start. Let’s see what else you have up your sleeve.
Maybe we can slip in another “fiXer Elixer” for next episode . . .
Yeah, don’t you think Robert Smith owes us some props?
Actually, I love Robert Smith, just this side of Idolatry.
I can’t believe you already got to listen to the episode . . . we just got the thing posted. Unfortunately, we’ve got about a two week wait before the next episode. Did you ever hear the filthy “Big Dawg” episode? It is a bit foul, but it was pretty funny as well.
L.G., I kind of think the recent problems are a result of the “beta” software AND some over-zealous editing. We’ll talk.

Hey guys, great show! I’m going to have to check out that Pandora.com as I am a yahoo launchcast junkie. I’m too cheap to actually pay the 3 bucks a month so I usually run out of music about half way through the month. Oh yeah, I also want to hear more fiXer! Didn’t you write a song about a young girl like me or kase or something on that album? Play that! Anyway yeah you should really get a lawyer and look into suing The Cure. That is too funny! Maybe they’ll settle out of court for a signed t-shirt or mug something? Can’t wait for the next show. Have fun in Corvallis, LG!

Hey I remember that spent fixer song Ms. Brightside. You, Beth and I made it on that song! I actually still remember my verse by heart! Hehe. I’ll probably check out some of the older episodes since I’m kind of a new listener and have only caught the last few. 2 weeks for the next episode? Man, I may go into withdrawls!

She Apizzle . . . I do believe episode 23 is a classic. It is pretty filthy and probably not “work safe.” But it was a very weird episode that featured the Big Dawg in the studio and we related a classic story about an amazing bike ride. I’ll throw a couple of other episode numbers at you that I think would be worth your time. Do remember that this is the “ill crate” and not the “gleaming white unicorns prancing in a meadow of gumdrops crate!” Har har!

She Apizzle . . . guess what? I think you’ve already heard that episode! I went back to it and it looks like you were among the people who had commented on the show. I’ll get back with another recommendation in a day or so!
Sorry,
