Episode 43: the Wheel of Chaos returns

In our 43rd episode, the Wheel of Chaos (originally appearing in episode 30) gets dusted off again and we spend the entire show picking songs entirely at random by SpEnt fiXer, The Zarkons, In the Woods, and Lizzy Borden. Also, Padrino is inspired by his upcoming golf trip to wax philosophical on the game. We take one last look at the The Amazing Race 9, its season finale, and a flashback to Padrino’s prediction on the outcome. Our “Slanguage” segment is renamed Slangoria just in time for Halloween (okay, we’re a little early). In the Geek Zone, LG discusses this week’s spam woes and the death of the Blue Frog, but cheers up with the latest on Kari Byron of Mythbusters and now FHM(!!). Finally, in this week’s Reposing or Decomposing?, we challenge each other on famous Misters as well as members of the Reagan Administration.

    Great show! White Rabbit use to be my fave song in high school! Great to hear all those different versions. Hope you had a fun vacation.

    SpEnt fiXer were the heavyweight champions of Easter Canada!!! I don’t know how we didn’t become household legends. ;) Probably because we occasionally threw together songs like you heard during this episode’s intro. Hahaha. Actually, that song is a lot better than it sounds . . . huh? I only wish we could remember what the title of it was and where we stole the lyrics from. Oh well.

    Hey Mrs. Brightside . . . how’d you do on Reposing or Decomposing this week?

    BTW, L.G. is on holiday this weekend, so there will be no Ill Crate during Memorial Day week. Sorry. Not to worry though . . . I’ve already got some Slangoria items for the episode next!

    Hey . . . no absentee voting! :)

    Do you really prefer the old? Maybe I’ll slip that in as an outro. Cuz I like ‘em both, but the Slangoria took a long time to throw together. Did you recognize that as my voice? That is also my voice doing “Reposing or Decomposing.” The opening “Ill Crate” audio logo is L.G. So is “The Geek Zone.”

    Our trip to Oregon was short and kinda sweet. Skip didn’t like the golf course, but I think it was just because he struggled a bit and that he didn’t have “stuff” with him. So he became a bit difficult and crabby. I, Mum, and 101011 enjoyed ourselves, however.
