Ill Crate episode 6
We’re back with another one of those block-rockin’ podcasts. In this episode we dig KMFDM out of the Ill Crate; we crack wise about The Amazing Race as always; our special guest Biscuit sits high up on his stool and relates a tale about, uhh, well, an entirely different kind of stool; and our movie review covers an actual currently-playing flick, Frank Miller’s and Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City.

I got my shout and a show dedication?? How did I get so lucky! I feel so special.
All the gals in the office (all 4 of us) listened to it…I had to replay the lovely things you said about me…thanks guys!!
Can’t wait to see you both…it has been too long.

Listened to it in the office? I don’t really think of our podcast as being what the kids call “work-safe.” But if it works for you, great.

We are a small office, so we don’t have to listen to KWRM…or KWarm…whatever that station is that they advertise on TV that is “family friendly” and good “office music”.
Plus we are all youngish gals with greast senses of humor…and we work in the freight industry, so the F-bomb is dropped quite frequently.
Awaiting my shot to dig in the Ill Crate-

If you knew Aren’s office you’d know it was work “safe” LOL!!!

Hahaha, we really should have dedicated a less sordid show to you, Aren, but we felt that “sooner” was better than later. You’ll get the “Full Monty” shout out whenever LG and I get up enough nerve to do the SpEnt fiXer episode. Maybe we could even get you and Mr. Cocktail in the “studio.” We’ve been dying to get an official “Mr. Cocktail Movie Minute” incorporated into the show. Anyway, thanks for diggin’ around in the ill crate!

Aren: “greast senses of humor”? Woo!
Rassilon: “work ’safe’”? As in 100% work-free?
Yeah, we need to do a Rass/Mr. Cocktail Movie Minute. Maybe we can put that Skype to productive use.
WTF happened to BucksLad, anyway? Have you noticed that you never see BucksLad and Phil Kheogan in the same room together?
April 20th, 2005 at 3:12 pm
Well, I encouraged Mr. Cocktail to do a review…maybe he will. I think he would do a great job…
Maybe he could do one on Hitchikers after we all see it…I guess I will have to be pushy and naggy, like a good wife should be.
At least I didn’t say I had the “greasest sense of humor.”…but then again, now that I think about it…I kind of do.
I would love to come to the “studio” some day…
Am I considered a groupie now??
April 20th, 2005 at 6:11 pm
Hmm, never noticed that! Of course, I’ve never BucksLad in the same room as Simon Cowell! If ever he returns to podcasting and he starts dropping Paula Abdul’s name, then we’ll know for sure.
I certainly miss his show. He’s even stopped his regular blog. Hey, do you think we could scrape up some petty cash and get Mr. Cocktail and Hottie Aren to vote for us on PodcastAlley?

I voted!

Hey! Thanks for the vote Aren! Umm, we’ll take any groupies we can get! Right now we are entertaining a canary and two finches as “groupies.” I think that officially puts us in the “sick” catagory. Oh well. We’ve been there before. I wonder if once we see Hitchhiker that we can’t do a “remote” podcast review. I think LG has wonderful little voice recorder. We could do a round table discussion and then slip it into the podcast. That would be tres cool.
